The dark night of the soul can be the most challenging time in the life of a person.

Dark Night Of The Soul

If you are conscious and awake you’ll inevitably go through something like this.

A little backstory on my dark night of the soul is that it lasted about 3 years. 3 years of hell. Loneliness, depression, confusion, anxiety, chronic illness, fatigue, and more.

Many times I didn’t know if I was going to make it out but being where I am now I’m so grateful I didn’t kill myself. I actually remember I wrote out a whole suicide note.

Suicide Note

It’s a process of transforming, of shedding the old self and being given the chance to create a new self in a higher reality. You’re essentially dying and being reborn

The crazy thing is, is that you can’t bullshit this process. You must go through it and integrate it.

The dark night of the soul is a healing process of your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual body.

If I were to go through this again the first thing I would do is detox the body. Messed up the gut, dirty colon, parasites, heavy metals, weak organs, and toxins in your environment make it difficult to come out of this. Detox on a physical level makes this process 50x easier and smoother.

Next, I would change my diet and lifestyle. Animal-based organic diet, grounding, sunlight, saunas, socializing, deep breathing, proper sleep, clean water, and being out in nature.

After that, I would start to see therapists, acupuncturists, doctors, get an oligoscan, chiropractors, dentists, and any other experts and professionals.

Once that’s done comes the spiritual and emotional work—journaling, shadow work, and reflecting and diving deep into oneself.

There is no timeline for how long this will take.

All I can say is that it’s a marathon.

No matter how bad it gets remember in your darkest moments that it all means nothing;)

The Dark Night Of The Soul allows you to develop a deep metaphysical appreciation and love for life.

And once you start feeling better always keep in mind that the better it gets the better it gets.
